Multiple Sclerosis is a condition in which the body's immune system attacks the central nervous system. The causes of MS are still not well understood, however, it is 3 times more likely to occur in women and often presents at 20-50 years old. Patients with MS may experience exacerbations of symptoms which may consist of pain, fatigue, memory loss, coordination loss, changes in vision, depression, and many other symptoms.
